Volcano

2020

Caves have enabled humans to explore the interior of the Earth. For tens of thousands of years, they have been marked with images. The volcano here represents not only how we perceive the interior of the Earth, but also how it has changed the surface of our planet and the environment over time. Caves and volcanoes can thus be seen as double-sided mirrors for our perception of the exterior and interior of the Earth.
