Winning project of the Beca Plataforma Bogotá en Arte, Ciencia y Tecnología 2021.

This was a graphic production laboratory that blended AI tools with insights from biology, ecology, taxonomy, and typography. It aimed to foster a space for discovering the diversity and importance of Bogotá’s urban plants, while also celebrating the visual and conceptual depth of glyphs, characters, and signs.

The main result was the creation of several Typographic Grafts (Injertos Tipográficos in spanish) -the union of a plant and a letter to grow as a single organism- using Shape-MatchingGAN.
