A series of hyperlinks on Wikipedia can become a roadmap for audiovisual creation. In this case, jumping from the most general and abstract to the most concrete and specific.

This piece is a visual experiment that transforms two relevant elements in today's worldview (cosmovisión in spanish): the image of the world seen from above, from afar. A vast world that becomes small and within the reach of our hands after a couple of clicks. On the other hand, the technology that makes this possible: integrated circuits and silicon. Omnipresent and indispensable but almost invisible elements that can only be detailed by magnifying them using a microscope.

I originally used Touchdesigner to create a high resolution version following this tutorial. The patch shifts the pixels of public domain images using a low-resolution feedback loop, resulting in a kind of datamoshed-PCB. I later used the same technique on cables.gl to create an interactive online version.
