Humans, motivated by their never-ending obsession with perfecting their machines, discard large quantities of electronic material that over time incubated a parasite that survives and multiplies by lodging itself in the primary auditory cortex. Once it has completed its gestation stage, the parasite leaves the body of its human host to continue growing.

To survive, humans must be subjected to a frequency whose resonance causes the hatched parasites to be destroyed. This frequency combines decibels and BPM that can only be found in one place in the world: CØSMOS. Rhythm is biotechnology and at the party, the frequencies that emerge from the music and the frantically moving bodies become the only salvation for mankind.

Together with Lina Barrios we developed the conceptualisation and art direction for the first (and only) version of the CØSMOS Festival, realised by OFF Conciertos, BAUM and Trazendez. The artwork was created using a drone, VSynth, an analogue TV, stock footage, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe After Effects.
