bio
My name is Pierre. I’m a designer currently living and working in the countryside of Colombia. I understand design as an experimental process guided by curiosity—an opportunity to explore different media and techniques. My work focuses on creating tools, installations, and audiovisual pieces for artistic, performative, and research projects.
As a designer, I’m interested in building bridges between people, professions, spaces, and technologies, especially digital tools, which have become the core of my practice, where I’ve developed the strongest skills and interests. However, I also have a keen interest in analog media such as photography and screen printing.
Living far from large cities has awakened a deeper connection with the Earth and a curiosity about how to transform and reconnect with the environments we inhabit. On of my goals is to intertwine a sustainable rural lifestyle with my professional practice—to design ways of living, perceiving, and capturing the environment that integrate traditional methods and techniques with digital tools, as well as scientific and artistic practices.
